Welcome to the Shady Rest
Facing East from the middle of the lot.
It's a lot of pictures of trees, but they're cooooool trees.
Facing East from the middle of the lot.
Basic plan. The red lines indicate the 25-foot setback we can't build on.
Blurry, but Spanish Moss is a cool symbiotic air plant that we don't seem to get down in South Florida.
This will all get cleaned-out and mulched. It's all in the 25-foot required setback, so it won't be built on.
Facing South through the main clearing. Those fern and palms will go, but the massive oak will be the frontpiece of the lot.
Facing North. This will be gravel driveway, a tent pad, and garden. First, the ruddy palms have to go...
Standing where the garage will be, looking at what will be the drive, tent pad and garden. Can you see the hidden boat?
Standing where the house will be. The tuft on the left is going. The fern on the right (and the palms!) are being cleared-out.
Facing West. The left edge of this group is, I believe, the southern lot line. Everything is getting cleared-out, except for the oak, and my peach trees are going in.
This is a crapping gold mine! One thing we don't have to deal with.
